About 2 pm June 18, police investigated what they said appeared to be a disabled motor vehicle at the Exit 11 ramps of Interstate 84, off Wasserman Way.
After making a records check, police charged motorist Bonni Paz, 39, of Bridgeport with driving without automotive insurance. Police released Paz on a written promise to appear on June 21 in Danbury Superior Court.
Four Charges
Police said they responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident on the evening of June 21 at 11 Park Lane.
Police said that after investigating, they charged motorist John Sikorski, 39, of 12 Park Lane with failure to grant the right of way, evading responsibility, misuse of a vehicle registration, and failure to have automotive insurance.
Police said they released Sikorski on $100 bail for a July 7 court appearance.
Main Street
Police report they spotted motorist Cody Marus, 19, of 25 Pepperidge Road driving 45 miles per hour in a posted 30-mph zone near Edmond Town Hall at about 6:30 am June 21, so they stopped him to investigate.
Police said they charged Marus with possession of less than four ounces of marijuana and with possession of alcohol by a minor in a motor vehicle.
Marus was held on $2,500 bail for an appearance that day in Danbury Superior Court, police said.
Warrant
Police report they arrested Donna Catalano, 27, of Norwalk on a warrant on the night of June 21, lodging charges of theft of a credit card, illegal use of a credit card, and sixth-degree larceny.
After receiving a complaint from a local resident on February 16, police investigated a January 27 incident which led to Catalanoâs arrest.
Police released Catalano on a written promise to appear in court on July 2.
Computer Theft
Police report that someone stole a laptop computer from a home on Cider Mill Road sometime between 11 am and 3:30 pm on June 22. Police ask anyone with knowledge of the crime to contact them at 203-426-5841.
Vandalism
Police are investigating reports that either late on the night of June 21 or during the early morning hours of June 22, someone damaged curbside residential mailboxes in the Hundred Acres Road area. Anyone with information about the criminal mischief is asked to contact police at the police station.
