Summer Program For Russian Orphans

Newtown families are needed to host an older child for four weeks this summer, by participating in the Bridge of Hope Summer Program for Older Russian Orphans. Families or individuals considering international adoption are preferred, to provide a safe, fun, summer experience for orphaned Russian children, ages 6–11, for the month of July.

Bridge of Hope representatives will be at the “Options for Adoption” Expo taking place at Quinnipiac University Saturday, March 11, from 1 to 4 pm, in Alumni Hall. Interested families should call CT Bridge of Hope Coordinators Lisa Rovello at 203-459-8147 or Kathleen Hickey at 203-459-2659 for more information. Application deadline is mid-March.

The Bridge of Hope Summer Program is run by Cradle of Hope Adoption Center Inc with the support of local volunteers. Cradle of Hope is a nonprofit adoption agency located in Silver Spring, Md. For information, visit  or www.cradlehope.org
