Obama’s Intention

To the Editor:

If you watched Barack Obama’s classroom speech to American school children: Monday, he almost seemed avuncular while encouraging the children to study hard, work hard and pursue their own ideals and self-fulfilling goals. The words could not be faulted. Alas, if his intentions could only follow his rhetoric.

Unfortunately, his first draft met with so much criticism, it had to be scrubbed because of its radical left wing content. Originally, his speech was meant to instill within the hearts and minds of our children the “cult of Obama,” as one news source described it. This attempt can only be viewed as the start of a big movement by Obama and his followers, to spell out to school children the virtues of a Socialist-Marxist belief system. If people had paid attention to Obama’s past activities in the Chicago school system, this latest ploy would not seem surprising.

According to a national news source, while in Chicago, Obama and his terrorist friend Bill Ayers served on the Chicago Annenberg Challenge initiative which, true to Ayers philosophy, downplayed academic achievement in favor of left-wing radical activism in the public school system (As an aside, Michele Obama has also recently recommended that this course of action be taken by students). Obama and Ayers oversaw grants to Acorn and to the avowed Communist Michael Klonsky. Klonsky was a member of the militant Students for a Democratic Society which served as a precursor to the violent Weather Underground organization. An investigative reporter noted that Klonsky and Ayers used their “small school movement: to steer schoolchildren from core academics to left-wing politicking on issues of war, violence and “inequity” (Marxism).

Fast forward to the present. What better way to begin to fundamentally “change” our country than to inculcate a subversive belief system into the vulnerable minds of our unsuspecting children?

Welcome to Obama Land where change becomes destructive and hope turns to hopelessness.
