Marion Skedgell To Discuss Her Career

ROXBURY — Author and Roxbury resident Marion Skedgell will be at Minor Memorial Library on Saturday, March 27, at 2 pm, to discuss her career in the world of publishing. Ms Skedgell has edited hundreds of books, including John Steinbeck’s Cannery Row. Her most recent project was to write Double Exposure.

Featuring a charming and thoroughly engaging grandmother as an unlikely heroine, Double Exposure is a fast paced, witty mystery adventure set in Greenwich Village. Ms Skedgell has written two other novels, but it is her latest that has generated the most enthusiastic response, with viewers calling it “delightful” and “skillfully paced.”

For a variety of reasons, Ms Skedgell self-published Double Exposure and she will discuss this aspect of writing-publishing during her presentation.

The talk is open to the public free of charge. The Friends of the Roxbury Library will be selling autographed copies of Double Exposure for $14.95.

The library is at 23 South Street in Roxbury, and is handicapped accessible. Call 860-350-2181 for information and directions.
