Sandy Hook Advisory Panel To Meet Friday
HARTFORD — Governor Dannel P. Malloy’s Sandy Hook Advisory Commission is next scheduled to meet on Friday, February 13, at 9:30 am, in Hearing Room 1B of the Legislative Office Building in Hartford.
The group plans to continue its discussion regarding the relevant issue areas that will be incorporated into its final report, including mental health/mental wellness, law enforcement, and safe school design and operation.
The Sandy Hook Advisory Commission is Gov Malloy’s 16-member panel of experts tasked with reviewing current policies and making specific recommendations in the areas of public safety, with particular attention paid to school safety, mental health, and gun violence prevention.
