Program On New Crop Circles
Program On New Crop Circles
Doug Rogers of Newtown will be giving a slide show and lecture on crop circles Thursday, October 25, at 7:30 pm, in the meeting room of C.H. Booth Library.
The world of cerealogy, the study of crop circles, is busy analyzing events of mid-August when two unusual crop formations arrived in a wheat field at Chilbolton, England. Crop designs have been discovered all around the planet for decades during growing season, but none so fascinatingly filled with details as those found near a Ministry of Defense radio telescope between August 14 and 19.
Mr Rogers, a Newtown resident an aviator, has made many trips to these sites and will share new insights and details on these new designs of August. He anticipates that there may be an interesting and in-depth discussion regarding these recent events, so those planning to attend should bring their curiosity and questions to the library.
The library, at 25 Main Street in Newtown, can be reached by calling 426-4533. Reservations are not necessary for this free program.
