Mary Napier

Mary (Jenkins) Napier, 82, wife of the late Edward A. Napier of Crystal Lake, Ill., formerly of Leopard Drive, Sandy Hook, died May 11, in Crystal Pines Health Care Center, Crystal Lake.

She was born in Ansonia on May 6, 1919. A school dietician, she had been employed by the town of Fairfield for more than 23 years. She was a former resident of the Southport section of Fairfield, and a communicant of St Vianney Church.

She is survived by one son, Edward A. Napier and his wife, Laura, of Pawcatuck, formerly of Southport; and one daughter, Barbara Paul and her husband, Tim, of Crystal Lake, formerly of Southport; four grandchildren, Edward Napier and his wife, Esther, Timothy Napier, Jason Paul, and Jennifer Paul; and one great-grandson. She was predeceased by her parents, five brothers, and one sister.

Funeral services were held from the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, on May 16, and at St Rose of Lima Church for a Mass of Christian Burial.

Interment was in Resurrection Cemetery.
