Larry Ayce, King And Meg At Love & Knishes

SOUTHBURY — Singer/guitarist Larry Ayce presents “Songs That Last Forever” on Tuesday, July 27, at the noontime Love & Knishes Lunch Program in the Jewish Federation’s social hall at 444 Main Street North. Mr Ayce showcases many styles from different eras of popular songs, and he invites guests to request their favorites.

All area adults age 60 and better are welcome to make reservations for the Jordan Caterers of Cheshire lunch, which is served at noon and followed by entertainment at 1 pm.

On August 3, “The Many Moods of Love” features mezzo soprano Margaret Capen and pianist King Bosworth of Heritage Village in a special concert including classical lieder and arias by Mozart and Reynaldo Hahn, Liszt’s Liedestraume (Love Dream) on piano and two medleys of beloved popular pieces by George Gershwin and other composers.

Lunch reservations must be made by the Friday before each lunch. All programs are open to the public, and there is a suggested lunch donation of $7.50 for adults age 60 and better.

To RSVP, call Debby Horowitz, Brownstein Jewish Family Service director, at 203-267-3177, extension 105.
