Woman’s Club Hears About Wine

The Newtown Woman’s Club held its December luncheon meeting at the Inn at Newtown.

Morgan McLaughlin, owner and operator of the McLaughlin Vineyard in Sandy Hook, was the guest speaker. Ms McLaughlin spoke to the membership about producing wine in Connecticut’s cooler climate and the different grape varieties as well as discussing Connecticut’s Wine Trail.

The Newtown Woman’s Club is a service organization and is open to any woman living in Newtown. Anyone who is interested in obtaining any information regarding this fine organization may contact the Membership Committee at 420-0530.
