ALLENDALE, N.J. â An antiques show will be conducted at Northern Highlands Regional High School on Saturday and Sunday, March 31âApril 1 from 10 am to 5 pm.
The show, sponsored by the junior and senior classes and promoted by P.J.âs Promotions, will feature more than 60 dealers from four states with a large selection of quality oak, country, formal and mahogany furniture.
Also, estate and costume jewelry, country and primitive items, silver, antique buttons, European posters, antique maps and botanicals, European linens and textiles will be for sale. Limoges, Depression and elegant glass, Doulton, toys, military and political items, Hummels, majolica, lighting, vintage apparel and garden items are just some of the other items for sale. John Clark will conduct appraisals on Sunday only, from 11 am to 4 pm. The cost will be $3 for each item.
Furniture dealers Doug Schmitt, Spinning Wheel Antiques, Country Cottage and Joint Venture Antiques will exhibit dining rooms, dressers, cabinets, desks, bookcases, side by sides and more. Jim McDonald will show barrister bookcases and Weathered Treasures will display country furniture. Maile Allen will show antiques maps and botanical prints, and Art Finkel will bring European advertising posters.
Ellen Asbell will join in with late Nineteenth/early Twentieth Century china, glass and furniture. Textiles dealers C.J. Brown and Agatha Mairinger will have many beautiful pieces on display, and Ann Lowe will exhibit framed cigarette cards. Buckland Antiques will show country furniture, scales and smalls, and Mars Most will exhibit Hummels, majolica, Doulton and fine porcelains and pottery. Perry Ford will display garden pieces and Art Crowley will offer cameras and books.
Casper Collectibles and Barbara Lightbody will show kitchenalia, and Ledoux Trading Company will come with antique buttons and art pottery. Audrey Kurtz will display Bohemian and art glass, porcelains, pottery and antique silver.
Estate jewelers Francis Storms, Joan Eden, Syros Kainaro and Harv Leigh will showcase jewelry. Phyllis Pfeifer will show gem quality jade, ivory and cinnabar jewelry. Debbie Turiâs booth will feature country, silver and other interesting smalls. Pamela Rehm will show early glass, and Louisa Flannigam specializes in vintage toys and apparel. Arthur Strelick will join in with militaria, stoneware, painting and smalls, and Sue Theurich sells country, military, political and collectibles.
These are just some of the dealers that will be participating. Admission is $5.
