To New Corporate Headquarters

GSC Computer Services, Inc. (GSC) this week announced the relocation of its corporate headquarters to 30 Church Hill Road in Newtown. In addition to GSC, this location will also support its sister company C/Scan, Inc.

The new headquarters is located in a two-story 16,000 square foot brick building that also houses Western Connecticut Federal Credit Union, Stockwell & Bates, CPA’s, and Bagelman. “This move enables the company to pursue its growth plans that will occur over the next four to five years,” said Ken Naas, chief financial officer of GSC. GSC previously was located in South Main Commons on Route 25.

Newtown was legally established in 1708 when the Connecticut Colony gave 36 men permission to lay out a new town in the area north of Stratford. In 1710 of these individuals drew lots for parcels of 20 acres each.
