Joshua Taylor

Taylor, 7, will be a third-grader this coming school year. He participated in the Matt Memoli Baseball Academy this summer.

Favorite part about playing baseball: “I enjoy practicing and having a lot of fun with my friends and coaches.”

Toughest aspect: Hitting the smaller Wiffle Balls. “It takes a lot of work to get it done.”

When he’s not on the baseball diamonds: Is learning how to play tennis and taking golf lessons.

Favorite subject: Writing.

Team and athlete he roots for: Red Sox and Jonathon Papelbon.
