Melissa M. Gereg

Melissa M. Gereg died December 22 at her home, 23 Lakeview Road, Brookfield at the age of 36.

She was the sister of Brenda M. Aurelia of Newtown.

She was born in Danbury, September 13, 1963, daughter of Theresa M. (Martin) Gereg and the late Alan P. Gereg.  She graduated from Immaculate High School and attended Western Connecticut State University.

Miss Gereg was a member of St Marguerite Bourgeoy Church in Brookfield.

Besides her mother, with whom she made her home, she is survived by her brother, Alan Gereg, Jr of Brookfield; her nephews, Michael and Daniel Aurelia of Newtown; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A mass of Christian burial was celebrated December 28 at St Marguerite Bourgeoy Church on Candlewood Lake Road in Brookfield.  Burial was in St Peter Cemetery.

The Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield was in charge of arrangements.
