Glebe House Programs Open

WOODBURY — The Glebe House Museum and Gertrude Jekyll Garden is accepting registration for two programs.

A needle felting workshop will run  at the museum on Friday, March 23, beginning at 9 am. During the five-hour workshop Lorraine Evans will teach the group to make a three dimensional sculpted figure using wool roving. Cost, including materials, is $30 ($27 for members).

A landscape design lecture and workshop is scheduled for Saturday, March 31, from 10 am until noon, at Saint Paul’s Parish House, 294 Main Street South. Jane Brook Barba, a garden designer and instructor at New York Botanical Garden, will lecture on designing for a home landscape. Participants are invited to bring a photo or a sketch of their problem garden areas for advice from the expert. Cost for this workshop is $15 ($13 members).
