Christmas Pageant At Trinity Church

The Trinity Church Christmas pageant was held on Sunday, December 19, with a cast of fourth and fifth graders as angels, shepherds and wise men, as well as the Chamiec-Case family with baby Elizabeth Faith portraying the Holy Family.

The pageant also featured youth choirs, and a special rendition of “Silent Night” that was portrayed in sign language by youth choir members.

Narrator was Trinity’s rector, Kathie Adams-Shepherd, and the organist was Maria Coffin. Thirteen new angel costumes were created for this year’s pageant by Elaine Breitling and Anne Tabler.

Gifts collected during the pageant will be given to residents at Southbury Training School. Mite boxes collected will go to the Bishop’s Fund for Children throughout Connecticut.

The cast, led by directors Sue Fiorey and Carrie Dennis, also included Dana Schunter as Angel Gabriel, Jessica DiVanno as Shepherds Angel, and the following children as angels: Linda Ann Case, Katie Dennis, Emily Fiorey, Sally Tabler, Samantha Wong, Alex White, Gracie Galie, Bronwynn Schlaefer, Kathryn Anne Schmidt, Marleigh Sullivan, Jennifer Tichon, Jaclyn Van Waalwijk, Jennifer Brill.

Joseph Bowen, Alex Bowen, James Gaston, Nicole Haylon, Kendra O’Connor, and Stewart Tabler were shepherds.

Ethan James Breitling, Christopher Meier and Kyle Murphy were the Three Wise Men.
