AARP Driver Safety Course

Can Sharpen Skills, Save Money

SOUTHBURY — Brownstein Jewish Family Service of The Federation-Jewish Communities of Western CT has joined with the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) to offer a Driver Safety Course. This lifesaving drivers’ refresher course saves money, too, as participants may be eligible to receive a significant reduction in their insurance rates upon completion of the two session, eight-hour class. In Connecticut, individuals over age 62 qualify for an insurance discount of at least five percent.

Classes will be held at the Walzer Family Jewish Community Campus, 444 Main Street North.

The two sessions will be held on Wednesdays, August 8 and 15, from 9 am to 1 pm. Fee for the course is $10 and checks should be made out to AARP.

Participants are encouraged to register early, as class size is limited. For more information and to register, call Debby Horowitz at 267-3177 extension 105.
