Rodney G. Jory

Rodney G. Jory, 51, of 139 Lakeview Terrace, Sandy Hook, formerly of West Haven, died May 7 in Danbury Hospital.

He was born in Flint, Mich., on January 19, 1950, a son of  Theron Jory of Flint, Mich., and Neoma Avalof of Delano, Tenn.

Mr Jory was a graduate of Florida State University and was employed as a researcher at the Connecticut Mental Health Center in New Haven.

A memorial Service was held on May 9 at the Battell Chapel, corner of College and Elm Street, New Haven.

Contributions in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 372 Danbury Road, Wilton, CT 06897.

Arrangements were by the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown.
