To the Editor:

Please support Chris LaRocque for state representative. It is time to return to more responsible spending habits in Hartford.  Our local town officials are put in a stranglehold by the poor fiscal decisions by our elected leaders in Hartford.

We must elect a representative who will best represent us.  We need representation that will hold the line on wasteful spending and borrowing that is hurting us for the future.  We need someone who can think with an independent mind.  Chris LaRocque has demonstrated with his time on the Legislative Council that he is willing to say no when so many are saying yes to more spending and taxes.  He is willing to make the tough decisions, and that is the reason why we need to send him to Hartford. We need to help bring balance and more fiscal responsibility than the poor leadership that the Democratic supermajority has shown.

I urge you to support Chris LaRocque for State Representative and put a Republican back  in office to represent Newtown.
