58th Annual Newtown Labor Day Parade: “Volunteers Keeping Our Community Strong”

Steps off at 10 am from Main Street at Hanover Road, annual townwide (and beyond) celebration will feature Grand Marshal Bill Halstead (chief, Sandy Hook Volunteer Fire & Rescue), also local fire companies, marching bands, schools, groups and clubs, dancers, floats, military vehicles, politicians, et al, parade route follows Main Street to Glover Avenue, then northwest onto Queen Street, ending at Church Hill Road.
