The Great Pumpkin Races

$5/pumpkin racer or decorated pumpkin entry
All ages invited to enter competitions (racers must have four wheels, with two axles going through pumpkin; decorated pumpkins judged in Funniest, Best Decorated and Scariest categories), both competitions done by age groups, also children’s crafts, seasonal floral arrangements available to purchase from Town & Country Garden Club, refreshments, entertainment and more, rain date October 20 (1 pm start), presented by and fundraiser for Newtown Lions Club; newtownlions.org.
