35th Annual Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Connecticut-Third Leg

Newtown Police Department personnel will be hosting Special Olympics Torch, and SOCT athlete, running from Bethel-Newtown town line on Dodgingtown Road/Route 302, to Sugar Street/Route 302, crossing Main Street to Queen Street, to Church Hill Road, and then east to Blue Colony Diner, where athletes and torch will be transported to Troop A for continued run, culminating Friday night in Fairfield for weekend games, donations benefit Special Olympics CT, residents invited to cheer runners along route; give.soct.org.
