Families United in Newtown is planning its Annual Autism Awareness Benefit Concert and Dinner for December 30, this year with special guest Amanda Mammana.

Newtown Holiday Festival's main event will return to Main Street on Sunday, December 3. Organizers have additional events beginning December 2 and continuing to December 15, all to benefit Newtown Youth & Family Services.

Ultimately, I’m pleased that the Borough Zoning Board chose to follow the zoning regulations and the law rather than give in to the pressure surrounding this project. The settlement also appears to address one of the more legitimate concerns by moving the homes substantially farther from the Rochambeau Trail while preserving additional open space.

That’s how zoning is supposed to work — by the regulations, not by whoever can generate the most outrage with the most amount of clickbait.
