Garden Club Will Welcome Forest Assn. Speakers, Jan. 12

The Town and Country garden Club’s next meeting will be on Wednesday, January 12, beginning at 7:30 pm. The meeting will be at the Senior Center Multi-Purpose Building on Riverside Road in Sandy Hook.

The club will welcome as its guest speakers Wes Gillingham, president of the Newtown Forest Association, and Doug Rogers, who will give a general talk on the history and the public use of the forest.

The meeting is open to the public free of charge. Light refreshments will be served. Non-members are encouraged to attend and become acquainted with the club’s activities. Anyone interested in joining or in need of further information can contact Marianne Muskus at 426-3469.
