Raymond C. Weber

Had a Passion For Music

Raymond C. Weber, 82, husband of Dorothy (Benton) Weber, of Sandy Hook, died December 31 in Harborside Healthcare-Glen Hill, Danbury.

He was born in Chicago April 20, 1923, a son of Benjamin and Victoria (Rak) Weber.

In addition to his wife, Mr Weber is survived by a daughter, Barbara J. Baldino, of Newtown; two sons, Robert R. Weber, of Seaford, England, and Stephen J. Weber, of Southbury; and two grandsons, Craig and Matthew Baldino.

Mr Weber served in the US Air Force during World War II. Following his war service, he attended Pace Business Institute. During his career as an accountant, Mr Weber worked for Lifesavers Inc, AnaConda Wire and Cable, Western Union International, and Westchester Community College.

A resident of Sandy Hook for five years, Mr Weber was a longtime resident of Ossining, N.Y., and also lived for a period of time in Monroe. He had a passion for music and played the accordion.

Funeral services were held January 5 from the Honan Funeral Home, Newtown, and in St Rose of Lima Church for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment followed in St Rose Cemetery.
