Attention young poets, jugglers, singers, comics, musicians and more: share your talents at the next monthly Saturday Night Open Mic For Newtown Youth.

The next event, for entertainers in grades 5-12, will be Saturday, January 18, from 7 to 9 pm, in The Great Room at Newtown Congregational Church, 14 West Street.

Suggested donation is $1.

Adult family members attending are invited to bring a drink or snack to share. All ages are welcome to attend the fun community event.

Sign up starts at 6:45 pm. There is no early sign-up before 6:45, however doors will be open by 6:15 for those who wish to wait in line to sign up. There are spaces for about 20 performers so the time limit per spot is about five minutes.  Sign-up is first come, first serve.

Microphones, keyboard, guitar amp and more will be available. Live music only please.
