Eva Warholak Husanita, 95, of West Scranton, Penn., formerly of Bridgeport, died January 6 in Allied Skilled Nursing Center in Clarks Summit, Penn. Born in Wyola-Smithmills, Penn., she was the daughter of Michael and Mary Suchick Warholak.

Three sisters, Margaret Qubick of Sandy Hook, Anastasia Wallick of Stratford, and Theadora Kmiotek of Fairfield; her daughter Theadora Woltch Lessin and son-in-law Dr Nathan Lessin of Davie, Fla.; brother Theodore Warholak of Mount Desert, Maine; and nieces and nephews survive Mrs Husanita. Her husband Stephen Husanita preceded her in death, in 1983. In addition to her parents, five sisters and five brothers also predeceased Mrs Husanita.

She worked for Devar-Kinetics in Bridgeport before retiring to Scranton, and was a member of St Michael’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Scranton.

Graveside Services took place January 10 in Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst, Penn.
