The Garden Club of Newtown will host a presentation titled “Pollinator-Perfect Gardens” for its next meeting.

The program will be presented by Michele MacKinnon, who is a garden consultant, Advanced Master Gardener, garden writer, and speaker. She will share tips for picking the right plants and using planting methods that result in pollinator-perfect gardens.

With her advice, every gardener can help reverse insect decline and support the health of pollinators.

The program is scheduled for Tuesday, February 25, at 1 pm. It will be in the Olga Knoepke Meeting Room at C.H. Booth Library, 25 Main Street.

There is no charge to attend. Reservations are not needed but additional information is available by calling Mary Thomas, 203-426-9696.

Advanced Master Gardener Michele MacKinnon will offer a program for those interested in creating gardens that attract pollinators when she visits Newtown later this month.
