Legislative Leaders To Address Fairfield County Business Community
STAMFORD â SACIA, The Business Council for Southwestern Connecticut will host Connecticutâs Legislative Leadership on Tuesday, March 9, at the Westin Stamford Hotel, from 7:30 until 9:30 am.
The breakfast will feature Speaker of the House Moira K. Lyons, House Majority Leader James A. Amann, House Minority Leader Robert M. Ward, Senate President Pro Tempore Kevin B. Sullivan, Senate Majority Leader Martin M. Looney, and Chief Deputy Minority Leader William H. Nickerson, and will provide an in-depth look at the critical issues facing the state in 2004.
The panelists will be asked questions on the following issues: leadership and public trust, the state budget, rising health costs and medical liability risks, casino expansion in Connecticut, transportation, and workforce housing.
Reservations for SACIA members are $35 per person, or $315 for a table of ten. The nonmember rate is $45, or $405 for a table of ten.
