Mr and Mrs Duane P. Pettinicchi

Jennie Marie Chrosniak, formerly of Newtown, and Duane Paul Pettinicchi of Wolcott were united in marriage on October 19 at St Michael Church in Waterbury with the Rev Joseph R. Cronin officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs Dorine LeVasseur of Milford and Mr Robert Chrosniak of Bridgewater.

The groom is the son of Mr and Mrs Richard Pettinicchi of Wolcott.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Amy Platt of Sandy Hook was maid of honor.

The bridesmaids were Michelle Battistelli of Danbury, Krista Hurley of Monroe, and Bonnie Lespier of Meriden.

Steven Brouillard of Cheshire was best man.

The ushers were Mark Wakeman of Terryville and Rick Romaniello and Raymond Fontaine of Wolcott.

The bride graduated from Newtown High School and is employed as a nanny.

The groom graduated from Wolcott High School. He is an electronic technician with Sensormatic Electronics/ADT.

A reception followed the ceremony at Zandris Stillwood Inn in Wallingford.

Following a wedding trip to St Thomas and St Maarten, the couple is residing in Wolcott.
