Beloved daughter, sister, and friend, Janet Lee Myers passed away Saturday, March 14. Janet was born August 5, 1952, in Danbury, to Norris Harlan and Dorothy Russell Myers.

She attended DATAHR and the Regional Center in Danbury. After many years of her parent’s loving care, Janet moved to Torrington to a home she shared with good friends. She spent many years with compassionate caregivers who helped her lead a happy and healthy life. Janet enjoyed trips with her family and time with friends.

Janet is survived by her sister, Barbara Schenzer, and her husband, Daniel, of Sandy Hook; her nephew, Daniel Schenzer, and his wife, Christine; her nephew, Scott Schenzer and Virginia Palmour of Charlotte, North Carolina; and her great-niece and nephews, Reagan, David, and James.

She was predeceased by her nephew, David.

Private services will be held.
