Friends of Edmond Town Hall, a 501(c)(3), will host its first annual gala on Saturday, May 4. The event will run from 7 to 10 pm in the Alexandria Room of Edmond Town Hall.

The theme is “A Formal Affair,” and semiformal cocktail attire is encouraged.

The event will include live and silent auctions, raffle, passed and stationary hors d’oeuvres, a complimentary signature cocktail or mocktail, cash bar of beer and wine, and live entertainment.

Gala Chair Marci Albanesi stated she and the Friends “are really excited for the First Annual Gala to benefit Edmond Town Hall.

“With the ultimate goal of enhancing the quality of life for Newtown residents through music and the arts, this gala will specifically benefit the six dressing rooms utilized by all artists who utilize the theater,” Albanesi added. “Whether it’s our children performing with the local dance and theater companies, or artists booked for comedy and live music shows, providing updated, comfortable and functional dressing rooms is essential.”

Auction will include items such as a Stratton AirBnb, classes at Balanced Pilates, a half-day guided fishing tour, and a catered meal for eight. Cash and charge cards will be accepted.

Award winning STF Catering, LTD, known for local and sustainable farm-to-table cuisine, will present the passed and stationary hors d’oeuvres.

Tickets are $100 if purchased by March 31. They will be $125 after that date. Tickets are available at friendsofeth-gala.org. Group discounts are also available.

Funds will benefit the Friends of Edmond Town Hall mission of “being committed to bringing arts and humanities programming and events to the community at large while maintaining the historic Edmond Town Hall.”
