Celebrating The Anniversary Of Girl Scouts Of The USA

Newtown Girl Scouts celebrated the 109th anniversary of Girl Scouts of the USA by meeting with First Selectman Dan Rosenthal, left, on March 9 to receive an annual proclamation honoring the event.
Girls participated in a week of in-person and virtual programming that honored founder Juliette Gordon Low and Girl Scout traditions for Girl Scout Week, March 7 to 13 this year.
Girl Scout ambassadors, Seniors, Juniors, Brownies, and Daisies all attended the event.
