Cameron Shrum

Joan and Carl Allen of Newtown announce the engagement of their daughter, Kim Allen, to Cameron Shrum, son of Eric and Alison Shrum of Augusta, Ga. An October 2001 wedding is being planned.

Kim is a 2004 graduate of Newtown High School, and a 2008 graduate of Castleton State College, of Castleton, Vt., where she earned a bachelor’s degree in sports administration. She is employed in the sports marketing field for Octagon.

Cameron is a 2002 graduate of Shiloh High School, Snellville, Ga. He later graduated from Norwich University – The Military College of Vermont, in Northfield, Vt., where he received a bachelor’s in history in 2007. He is an assistant manager for Enterprise.
