MIDNIGHT (left) is a beautiful black lab, pit mix who has been at the pound much too long. She loves people and would be devoted to one special owner. Midnight gets along with cats, but puts on a big show with other dogs. We have been working with her and she is now getting along with non alpha dogs. In fact, she seems to enjoy their company. Midnight already walks nicely on a leash and knows basic commands. Free training lessons for her adopters will be provided. BETSY (right) is a three-year-old female cat who is as striking and adorable as she appears in her photo. She is friendly and playful and though timid, she is sweet and would be perfect for an older person.  If you would like to meet any of these animals, call Newtown Animal Control at 426-6900 or Canine Advocates at 426-5327. All animals have been spayed or neutered and received their shots.
