Industrial Engineer For Columbia Magnetics

William J. Keen, Jr, 77, a resident of Newtown, died April 3 at his home. Mr Keen was born February 1, 1929, in Camden, N.J., the son of William J. Keen, Sr, and Ethel (Welsh) Keen.

His wife of 52 years, Jessie M. Keen of Newtown; three sons, Stephen, William, and Michael Keen; and six grandchildren, Michael, William, Lori, Stephanie, Jessie, and Daniel Keen survive Mr Keen.

He was a graduate of West Philadelphia High School, Class of 1947, and he attended Temple University. He served in the US Army during Korea and worked as an industrial engineer for Columbia Magnetics.

Funeral Services will be held in private at the request of the family. The family requests memorianl donations be made to Regional Hospice of Western Connecticut, 405 Main Street, Danbury CT 06810.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to The Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street, Danbury.
