Carly Marie Margaret Kreshpan, 21, died unexpectedly and tragically on Wednesday, April 14.

A lifelong resident of Newtown, Carly was born June 29, 1999, to Carol Kreshpan. She graduated from Newtown High School in 2017 and was currently enrolled in dental assistant school.

Carly had the ability to light up a room. She had a passion for her family and a joy for life. Carly was a lifelong dancer, performing on stage every June at Edmond Town Hall in Lathrop School of Dance’s Annual “Stardust Revue.”

A spirited young woman of great beauty and charm, Carly was greatly loved by her family, friends, and classmates. The loss of Carly to her family and friends on earth is only tempered by the beauty she brings to heaven and the faith that they will all be together again.

Carly was cherished and survived by her mother, Carol Kreshpan, beloved brother, David, stepfather, William Stenson, all of Newtown; and paternal grandmother, Carole Kreshpan, of Conway, S.C.

She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Margaret and Charles Dipple, and paternal grandfather, Peter Kreshpan.

Following CDC guidelines, family and friends are invited to attend a funeral Mass at St Rose of Lima Church, 46 Church Hill Road, Newtown, on Wednesday, April 21, at 11 am. For virtual services, check the church website, strosechurch.com. Burial will be private.
