Newtown High School's track and field teams visited Weston to take on the host Trojans along with Brookfield and Pomperaug of Southbury on April 20. The NHS girls beat Brookfield 83-53, edged Pomperaug 73-72, and topped Weston 75-60. The boys defeated Brookfield 60-50, and lost to Pomperaug 111.5-37.5 and fell to Weston 100-42.
