The Second Company Governor’s Horse Guard will hold its annual Judged Pleasure Ride on Saturday, May 10, on the grounds at Fairfield Hills, with start times between 9 am and 12 noon. Fee is $45 per rider and includes lunch.

Riders will be timed on the trail ride and awarded points for each obstacle successfully completed.   Ribbons will be awarded for those finishing in the first through eighth places. The event is open to all horse owners. Riders will enjoy one of the most scenic trails in the state, with a total distance of eight to nine miles.

“Some new and very different types of fun obstacles will be set up both in our riding ring and fields,” said Second Lieutenant Robert Dahm. “The trails and obstacle course will be challenging to both horse and rider and lot’s of fun as well.”

Proof of current Coggins and Rabies vaccinations must be shown. For further information and reservations call 203-426-9046.
