Antiques Appraisal Fair On May 15

WATERBURY — An antiques appraisal fair will be held on Sunday, May 15, from 1 to 4 pm, at Teikyo Post University’s Traurig Library. Tickets, at $5 per oral appraisal, will be sold at the door.

The fair is sponsored by the Waterbury chapter of Hadassah and all proceeds will go to Hadassah Medical Organization.

Appraisers are Fred Cogliati (Antiques on the Green in Woodbury), Dan Gaieta (John Bale Book Company, Waterbury), and Andy Goldstein (Ideal Jewelers, Waterbury).

Mr Cogliati does general antiques appraisals and specializes in tools, clocks, watches, firearms, swords, military items, and furniture. In addition, he buys and sells antiques and does estate sales.

Mr Gaieta appraises books and ephemera. Mr Goldstein appraises antique jewelry as well as watches, collectibles, figurines, glassware, coins, old currency and stamps.

Hadassah is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that supports medical, educational and youth activities in Israel and in the US. Hadassah Medical Organization has been nominated for a 2005 Nobel Peace Prize.
