Mr and Mrs David Thomas Farrell

Alison Marie Giannini, daughter of Duane and Deborah Giannini of Sawmill Ridge Road in Newtown, and David Thomas Farrell, son of David Farrell and the late Diane Farrell of Fairview Avenue, Bridgeport, were joined in marriage on October 9 at St Pius X Church, Fairfield. Father Larry Carroll officiated.

Amy Lyddy, Brookfield, served as the bride’s matron of honor and Amanda Giannini, Newtown, served as maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Ashley Long of Oxford, Miss., Melissa Krusinski, Megan Krusinski, Megan Gallant, Molly Farrell, and Katie Farrell.

The best men were Mike and Bill Farrell. Tom McCarthy, Pete Koval, Rob DeFilippo, Pete McCann, Ralph Morzello, Steve Giacomi, Chris Gallant, Eric Woods, and Keith Fleming served as ushers.

A reception at The Shore and Country Club, Norwalk, followed the ceremony.

The bride is a graduate of Southern Connecticut State University with a bachelor of science in athletic training, and received her master of science in sport science from Ohio University. She is employed as an athletic trainer with Amfit Physical Therapy in Greenwich.

The groom received his bachelor of arts in psychology from the University of Connecticut, and is employed as a police officer in Westport.

The couple makes their home in Fairfield, after a wedding trip to Aruba.
