Kanga R. Price, 67, of Norwalk, and a former Newtown resident many years ago, died at home May 2, after battling a long illness. She was born in Stamford Hospital, May 26, 1946, and was the daughter of the late Jeanne and Prescott Fuller of Darien. 

She worked as a drug and alcohol counselor for many years and loved being able to work one on one with people.  She had an extraordinary gift to connect with others and was loved by many. She was a deeply spiritual person and found the good in everyone she met. 

Her partner of 26 years, Katherine Reid; her brother David Fuller and his wife Joyce of Simsbury; her son Jason Price and his wife Kirstin of California; two beautiful grandchildren; and a nephew survive Ms Price.

 In lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Animals In Distress, PO Box 312, Wilton CT 06897.

 A memorial service will take place at a later date.
