There was such a tremendous response to her last visit, Suzanne Rossini is returning to The Resiliency Center (RCN) this week.

Ms Rossini will offer a workshop on Friday, May 9, at 4:15 pm.

EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Technique but is commonly referred to as Tapping.

Tapping is a self-soothing tool for children to help gain control over their thoughts, feelings and behaviors.

This workshop, designed for children K-4 and their parents, will focus on teaching the basics of tapping with fun songs and games. Parents and children will benefit.

Yoga is also returning to RCN. Adults are invited to take a 60-minute yoga staycation. Release and refresh the entire body and mind with simple, accessible yoga techniques taught in a safe, private, supportive environment.

No previous yoga experience is necessary. All levels and capabilities welcomed.

A six-week series will begin Tuesday, May 13, at 11:15 am.  Classes will continue weekly until June 17.

Attendees are asked to bring a yoga mat and water.

Please note these classes will be held on the main level of 153 South Main Street, in the old Sabrina’s Theater space (straight down hallway, last door on right).

Reservations for both programs are requested, and can be done by sending email to jennifer@resiliencycenterofnewtown.org.

Founded in the aftermath of 12/14, The Resiliency Center of Newtown has a full day of special offerings, including crisis counseling, planned for the third anniversary of the Sandy Hook School shootings. Residents can take advantage of the programs free of charge.
