Skin Problems And Diabetes

DANBURY — A program, “Skin Problems and Diabetes,” will be held at Danbury Hospital on Monday, May 17, from 7:30 to 9 pm.

The program is sponsored by the Diabetes Club of Danbury, a support group for people with diabetes, their families, and friends, which conducts a monthly guest speakers program on the third floor of the South Building at the hospital.

Kenneth Cohen, MD, from the Danbury Hospital Department of Medicine, Section of Dermatology, who also is a practicing physician with Dermatology Associates of Western Connecticut, will be the guest speaker.

The goal of the free monthly programs is to provide continuous up-to-date information and education regarding the day-to-day management of diabetes. Robert Ruxin, MD, Danbury Hospital Department of Medicine, Section of Internal Medicine, serves as the medical director of the Diabetes Club of Danbury.

The following meetings are scheduled: Monday, June 21; Monday, September 20, and Monday, October 18.
