I thought I would add a touch of levity to the incompetence of the leadership in Connecticut. So readers, sing this to the tune of “Five Foot Two, Eyes of Blue.”

What the heck did he just say,

Does anyone trust Ned Lamont?

Paul Mounds is here, Josh is too

Suzie B could have the flu

Does anyone trust Ned Lamont?

State workers get their raise, huge pensions too,

They are his friends!

If you don’t work for the state,

He won’t care much for your fate.

His mouth moves, will he lie

He’ll keep us locked up til July

He can’t stand liberty

He’s a tyrant, can’t you see

Does anyone trust Ned Lamont?

The trains have never stopped, fastrack too

5 percent filled

All state workers keep their jobs

Tax time is when we’ll get billed.

He is Ned, he’s well bred,

But now ]he’s just a talking head
