Who is in your family? My husband, Dave; and we have five beautiful children, Travis, Emma, Avery, Sara, and Cameron.
Pets: We have two dogs, a German shepherd named Duke and our 11-month-old puppy, a chocolate Lab named Louise.
How did you meet your husband? We met through friends, kind of randomly, and it was a whirlwind from there. We just celebrated 16 years.
Work: I am the administrative assistant in the Newtown High School Counseling Office.
Are you an active member of any clubs, organizations, and/or communities of faith? I am the current president of Newtown Labor Day Parade. It’s my second year and I love it.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time? I love watching my youngest play sports. He plays three sports, so there are a lot of games and it takes up a lot of time, and we enjoy it.
What was the most recent movie you saw in the theater? Project Hail Mary, which was amazing. It was funny, and very surprisingly good.
Favorite music genre? My favorite is Kenny Rogers. I also love Lionel Ritchie. I’m kind of eclectic. I’m a radio person, really — I do like listening to different genres. It changes depending on my mood, but Kenny’s always been my favorite.
What is something you cannot live without? My dogs.
How long have you lived in Newtown? Since middle school. I moved here with my family then and I love it.
What is your favorite thing about Newtown? There is something special about Newtown. I feel like I fit. I love everybody here, I’ve worked so many different places and done so many different things in town and I just love it.
Do you have a favorite travel destination? Longboat Key, Florida. It’s my happy place.
