Christopher Licht and Jenny Blanco of New York have announced their engagement.
Christopher Licht is the son of Peter and Susan Licht of Newtown. He attended Hawley School and Newtown Middle School, and is a 1989 graduate of St Margaretâs-McTernan School in Waterbury. He received his BA in broadcast journalism from the SI Newhouse School of Syracuse University in 1993, and is currently a senior producer for MSNBC News in New York.
The future bride is the daughter of Thomas Blanco and Susan Woodruff of San Diego, Calif., and of the late Jean Marie Blanco. She graduated from Monte Vista High School in San Diego, and received her BA in communication from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1995. She is a producer for WNBC in New York.
An April 2006 wedding in San Diego is planned.
