William F.        Cosgrove
William F. Cosgrove, 78, of Fairfield, beloved husband of 46 years to Alice Cosgrove, died May 30 at Lord Chamberlain Health Center.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a son, William Cosgrove and his wife, Mary, of Newtown; a daughter, Joan Cosgrove of London, England; five grandchildren, Colleen, Nolan, Billy, Debbie and Michael; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Raymond Cosgrove and Harry Cosgrove, and a sister, Catherine.
Mr Cosgrove was a retired foreman for the Dupont Co and volunteered at Bridgeport Hospital for 17 years.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 3, at 10 am, at St Anthony of Padua Church, 149 South Pine Creek Road, Fairfield. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday, June 2, from 4 to 8 pm, at the Spear Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in William Cosgroveâs memory to the charity of oneâs choice.
