Dr Frank Forno versus Advantage Loan – Abbey Daski and Amanda Rowan pitched well to lead Dr Forno. Leah Copeland and Samantha Freitas played well in the field while Alexa Powell and Vanessa Feldman hit the ball hard.

Dr Frank Forno versus Walker Industrials – Deanna Bartolo and Vanessa Feldman did a fine job on the mound to lead Dr Forno. Alexandria DeWolfe, MacKenzie Lapp and Meredith Bridges all had solid hits.

Ricci’s Salon versus Dr Frank Forno – Amy Martin, Mackenzie Lapp and Deanna Bartolo powered Dr Forno with solid hits. Alexandria DeWolfe, Vanessa Feldman and Melissa Janco played fine defense.

Advantage Loan versus Ricci’s Salon – Jessica Gibbons and Stephanie Roman put together some impressive pitching performances to lead Advantage Loan. Katherine Fossum, Savannah Johannson and Rachel DiVanno made fine plays.

Advantage Loan 13, Connecticut Family Chiropractor 13 – Stephanie Roman, Kaitlyn Sugarman and Jessica Gibbons played well to lead Advantage Loan.

Union Savings 8, Newtown Insurance 2 – Shannon Barra, Rachel Camejo, Maggie Atkinson, Caitlin D’Eramo and Meghan Condon combined to score seven runs to lead Union Savings to the win. Nikki Elias sparked the defense. For Newtown Insurance, Taylor Thompson, Aria Brownell and Elizabeth Anderson each got on base several times. Ashley Kuligowski went 3-for-3 at the plate.

Newtown Savings 12, Dr Henry Gellert 10 – Linnea Pearson, Megan Murphy and Brady Eggelston knocked in two runs apiece to lead Dr Gellert. Marissa Saravis and Alina Schwartz scored two runs.

Burton Builders 13, Dr Henry Gellert 5 – Megan Murphy and Katie Cochrane banged out hits to lead Dr Gellert. Janis Hubina had a pair of bunt hits and Linnea Peason drove in two runs. Danielle Rubino pitched well, whiffing five batters in two innings.

Clearhart Construction 12, Dr Curtis Beck 8 – Alex Caracciolo put together a fine pitching performance to lead Clearhart to the win. Allie Rambone and Morgan Thompson had fine performances. For Dr Beck, Rebecca Reed and Erin Fish pitched well as Michelle Haylan hit the ball hard.

Newtown Hardware 11, The Quiet Company 8 – Kelley Tenney belted a pair of home runs and drove in six runs to lead Newtown Hardware. Sarah Feinstein made a tremendous catch in left field to save a pair of runs while Renee Solheim pitched well. For The Quiet Company, Nick Samuelson went 2-for-3 with a triple and Nicole Reyen went 2-for-3 with an RBI. Sarah Cioffoletti was solid in the field.

Rushefski Consulting 7, My Place Pizza 2 – Katie Schmidt, Samantha Ross and Sarah Peck had key hits to lead Rushefski to the win. Kristen Brassard made a terrific catch in the outfield. For My Place, Ashley Soucar and Carly Gingras played solid defense while Caitlyn Cosgrove and Jenna Legros hit the ball hard.

Newtown Hardware 12, The Quiet Company 11 – Taylor Ansbro doubled in a pair of runs to lead Newtown Hardware to the win. Megan Sajovic pitched well, striking out five batters in three innings, while Katie Serock had a fine defensive performance. For The Quiet Company, Danielle Petrella had a single and two RBI, Emily Kluga made to fine plays at shortstop, and Dayna Djonne pitched well.

Drug Center 10, Airtech 2 – Cate Waterhouse did great pitching and on defense, Nicole Maggio made great plays to lead Drug Center, Gracia Bergen had two solid hits for RBIs. For Airtech, Racheal Martin pitched great, and Lindsey Laub and Tara Belmont hit the ball well.

Newtown Hardware 9, My Place Pizza 7 – Kelley Tenney had a double, three RBI, and made several fine plays in the field to lead Newtown Hardware. Megan Sajovic pitched well and Taylor Ansbro sparked the defense. For My Place, Annie Hill had a single and triple while Renata Villareal had a double and RBI. Caitlin Cosgrove knocked out two singles and drove in three runs.

Bob Tendler 14, Karen’s Fitness 2 – Pam Rothenberg had two hits, Amanda Nealy doubled and combined on the mound with Jenn Callery to fan 12 batters to lead Bob Tendler to the win. Jenny Dorso scored four times. For Karen’s Fitness, Liz Tarshis, Katie Holroyd and Shelly Davies made great plays in the field as Sarah Smith pitched well.

Century 21 7, Bob Tendler 5 – Amanda Nealy banged out three hits and Megan Rockwell added two to lead Tendler.

Bob Tendler 14, Burton Builders 7 – Jenn Callery had three hits and three RBI to lead Tendler to the win. Amanda Nealy doubled and singled in the 14-hit attack. For Burton, Morghan Moroney pitched well while Nicole Escoda and Samantha Liss hit the ball hard.

Drug Center 17, JP Maguire 5 – Sarah Steiner, Gretchen Carey and Cate Waterhouse powered the Drug Center while Maura McDade (three runs scored), Amanda Trock and Genna Rossi powered Maguire.

Dr Curtis Beck 12, JP Maguire 11 – Kim Andrews drove in three runs to lead Dr Beck to the win. Danielle Silk and Rebecca Reed played well. For Maguire, Theresa Viesto scored a pair of runs while Samantha Carlisle and Jillian D’eramo played well.

Newtown Insurance 13, Karen’s Fitness 8 – Elizabeth Anderson, Samantha DeFillipe and Allison Pliszka hit the ball had and Ashley Kuligowski was superb in her pitching debut to lead Newtown Insurance to the win. For Karen’s, Annie Donnelly and Sheena Finlayson hit the ball hard while Brittany Soucar pitched well and Casey Rutter played well.

My Place Pizza 11, Taunton Press 6 – Annie Hull, Renata Villareal, Christie Folgelstrom and Joanna Barry led the way at the plate with Hull and Barry driving in two runs each. Jenna Legros and Caitlin Cosgrove pitched well. Nicole Alberico, Stacy Broughton and Marley Koschel powered Taunton Press. Alberico had a beautiful line drive triple and an RBI, while Broughton went 3-for-3 at the plate. Marley Koschel scored three times.

U14

 

Lexington Gardens 15, Attorney Edward Kelleher 8 – Andrea Rigby, Jen Blauvelt, Ally Kirk and Jen Truchess played well to lead Lexington to the win. For Kelleher, Kaitie Herwig homered and doubled while Holly O’Day, Mandy LaPorta and Lauren Kostas played well.

Preferred Computer Systems 13, Newtown Police Union 5 – Alyson Graham, Ali Legros and Katie Midlik each went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead PCS. Jessica Rockwell and Hillary Smith had fine defensive games. For NPU, Kelly Murphy was 3-for-3 and Jessica Cosgrove played well.
