TTS Systems 9, Brookfield (#1) 3 – Thaddeus Adams had 2 RBI and scored three times to lead TTS Systems. Tyler Adams, Andy Kirner and Tim Larsen also drove in runs, and Greg Rodden pitched three strong innings and played strong defense. For Brookfield, Shockley pitched well and Anaya drove in two runs with a bases loaded hit.

TTS Systems 18, Automated Security 8 – The Adams brothers, Tyler and Thaddeus, each had two hits and scored two runs to pace the TTS Systems offense in its win over Automated Security. Greg Rodden and Greg Larnerd each scored three times, Tim Larsen and Francis Oggeri pitched well, and Ken Picerno made a great catch at third base. For Automated, Matt Kuruc drove in two runs with a bases loaded single and Walter Murphy and Kurtis Liska also delivered big hits.

TTS Systems 5, Brookfield (#4) 3 – In a rain-shortened game, TTS Systems used six pitchers in six innings to defeat Brookfield. Adam Nanavaty’s 2-run single was the big blow. Francis Oggeri was 2-for-2 with two runs scored, and Tyler Adams, Thaddeus Adams, and Greg Rodden recorded doubles. Will Paskey was solid in the field.

TTS Systems 6, Clearhart Construction 5 – Alex Magoulas’ hit in the bottom of the seventh inning drove in Andy Kirner with the winning run as TTS Systems rallied back from a 4-0 deficit to beat Clearhart Construction. Kirner had two hits and scored two runs to pace the TTS offense. Greg Rodden also had an RBI single and pitched three strong innings. Kevin Herring, PJ Cochrane and Bob Lapple, each of whom singled and scored, led Clearhart. Lapple also pitched three scoreless innings and Cochrane played well defensively behind the plate.

Walker Industrial 9, Automated Security 3 – Chris Basso, Chuck Brooks, Sean Ryan and Dan Curtis sparked the offense to lead Walker to the win. Chris Leibold anchored the defense. For Automated, Alex Buckmn, Alex Grier and Kurtis Lisa hit the ball hard as Kyle DiNicola and Matt Cluff had solid pitching performances.

Walker Industrial 11, Aspetuck 4 – Allen Hubbard had two strikeouts and pitched a perfect 1-2-3 inning to lead Walker Industrial to the win. Sean Ryan scored three runs while Dan Curtis, Jeff Davis, and John Nelson scored two runs apiece.

Walker Industrial 6, Newtown (#3) 5 – Allen Hubbard had a double and two RBI while Jeff Davis, Sean Ryan and Mike Woessner turned a double played to lead Walker to the win. For Newtown #3, Mike Fritti hit the ball hard while Chris Klupton and Tim Conley powered the defense. Jason Smith, Blake Bennetto and John Modzelewski pitched well.

Brookfield 16, Walker Industrial 12 – Joel Minalgo banged out four hits while John Nelson had three to spark Walker. Dan Curtis and Mike Woessner had two hits apiece as Stefan Toi played well in the field and John Nelson pitched well.

Walker Industrial 9, Brookfield 4 – Jeff Davis and John Nelson had solid pitching efforts to lead Walker to the win. Chris Basso, John Nelson and Mike Woessner hit the ball hard. Jeff Davis and Stefan Toi scored two runs each.

American League

BASE Technologies 4, JF Walsh Logging & Mulch 2 – Pete Wlasuk doubled and Joe Cappiello collected a pair of hits to lead BASE to the win. Chris Marks, Dan Spencer and Wlasuk combined on a 13-strikeout performance. For Walsh, Dan Quinn and Mickey Fay hit the ball hard whole Nick Ryder and Brian Murphy pitched well. Kyle Markham made two great catches in the outfield.

BASE Technologies 7, Newtown Limousine 7 – Chris Marks went 3-for-3 with three doubles to lead BASE. Kurt Nacewicz, Joe Cappiello and Dan Spencer had two hits apiece. For Newtown Limo, Bret LeBlanc clobbered a home run and drove in three runs. Matt Mascolo banged out two hits and Eric Ralston sparked the defense with a fine catch in the outfield.

National League

 

Edwards Construction 6, Church Hill Physical Therapy 5 – Kevin Leibold, Tyler Edwards and George Zaruba collected key hits to lead Edwards to the win. Leo Spinelli and Herlof Sorenson sparked the defense while Matt Hamilton pitched two scoreless innings of relief. For Church Hill, Ben Collins, Casey Tenney and Kyle O’Connor banged out two hits apiece.

Gruce Tile 12, Newtown Police Union 4 – Adam Wenick (4 RBI), Kevin McCarthy (3 RBI), Nathan Crevier (2 RBI) and Andrew LaMarche (3 hits) led a potent offense as Gruce Tile came out swinging the bats. Anthony Gruce, Joe Fedak and Wenick were stellar on the mound. For NPU, Tucker Schmidt and Jeff Keating had hits while Dale Neves and Nick Tarantino made some nice plays in the field. Tarantino and Jeff Spencer pitched well.

Newtown Police Union 3, Aerco International 2 – Keith McGrath smacked a two-run double and Tory Deakin added an RBI double to lead NPU. Jeff Keating, Dana Hansen and Jeff Spencer also had big hits. For Aerco, Cole Depuy had an RBI double and Michael Coates singled to power the offense. Trevor Todd and Andrew Buonocore played well.

Gruce Tile 9, Edwards Construction 2 – Joe Fedak (3 hits, 2 RBI) Adam Wenick (2 hits, 2 RBI) and Kevin Carney (2 hits) paced an 11-hit Gruce Tile attack. Anthony Gruce, Evan Barreto, Fedak and Wenick shared the mound duty, limiting the opposition to two runs. For Edwards, Tyler Edwards belted an inside-the-park home run off the top of the center field fence. Keith McGrath added two hits and Matt Hamilton pitched well and made a great defensive play on the mound snaring a wicked line drive.

AAA

 

Bob Tendler 21, Family Health Care 12 – Matt Genovese came up with some well placed hits, while Josh Zimmerman along with Robert Kenny stole several bases to help secure the win for Tendler. Thomas Santeniello, Amar Agashe and Brandon Rosenberger became the three big hitters for Family Health Care.

Blinds Guys 7, My Place Pizza 7 – Sean Ross homered and drove in two runs to lead the Blinds Guys. Thomas Harrison had two hits while Chris Haylon, Kyler Harmeling and Colin Cooper played well. For My Place, Trey Trudell, Connor Blanc and Oliver Powers pitched well as Mac Morlock and Chris Tenney powered a late rally.

Hickey Septic 6, Troy Security 6 – Kevin Morrissey reached base three times to lead Hickey. Sean Burson and Richard Sandler scored two runs apiece and Thomas Johnston, Scott Keating and Richard Sandler played well.

Taunton Press 10, Lindin Consulting 9 – Jake Tolson and Mark Agugliaro powered the Taunton Press offense. For Lindin, William Arndt pitched two solid innings as Greg Campbell and James Alvarez were strong in the field. Eric Terhaar and Stephan Ibanez hit the ball hard.

Dental Associates 7, Bob Tendler 3 – Connor Mason, Sean-Michel Smith and Andrew McCarthy singled to lead Tendler. Mason West and Curtis Droniak pitched well.

Bob Tendler 8, Union Savings 1 – Andrew McCarthy singled three times to lead Tendler. Tim Wilder pitched two strong innings while Sean-Michel Smith and Craig Soderholm hit the ball hard.

Lindin Consulting 9, Dental Associates 3 – Ian Kirner and Andrew Cebry anchored the Lindin defense. Austin Fuori hit the ball hard and Ian McWilliams pitched well. For Dental, Matthew Wielebinski threw out a potential base stealer (tag applied by Doug English) to thwart a rally. Connor Howell and Ryan O’Keefe led the offense.

Dental Associates 7, Troy Security 7 – Eli Kichles belted a one-out triple and reached base twice to lead Dental Associates to the win. Connor Pineau was solid in the field and was the catalyst for a five-run second inning.

Hickey Septic 6, Taunton Press – Eric Samuelson’s base hit keyed a four-run, sixth-inning rally to lead Hickey. Thomas Johnston was 2-for-3 and Scott Runkle reached base three times.

Lindin Consulting 13, Enterprise Electric 6 – Chris McGowan, Jack McManus and John Mathews led the defensive effort for Lindin while John Mathews and Eric Terhaar scored runs. For Enterprise, Michael Cascone, David Tortora and Daniel Snyder had good games.

Enterprise Electric 12, My Place Pizza 6 – Ryan Truchess, Chris Tenney, Brandon Ziman and Oliver Powers (HR) led Enterprise at the plate. For My Place, Austin Bonadio pitched well.

My Place Pizza 6, Taunton Press 5 – Chris Tenney and Oliver Powers had two hits apiece to lead My Place to the win. Connor Blanc and Tenney also made some fine defensive plays.

Enterprise Electric 10, Bob Tendler 4 – Riley Wurtz and Jason Marks played well for Enterprise while Brandon Gonzalez and David Lucia led Tendler.

A

Mona Lisa 4, Acorn Electric 3 – Sean Elliott, Chris Robinson and Kevin Sphunt had a great outing on the mound to lead Mona Lisa. Gary Braun and Patrick Milano led the offense. For Acorn, Michael Senf and Max Lopez each had a perfect game at the plate and Daniel Gustafson and Reid Schmidt both went 1-for-2 with an RBI. David Gerics anchored the defense.

Curtis & Crandon 4, Villa Restaurant 4 – Jeff Hoffman, Tyler Ruefenacht and Nicholas Shannon made great defensive plays to lead Villa. For Villa Restaurant, Chris Otero had a great catch in centerfield, which stopped a rally. Chris Devaney had three hits and Ryan LeMay blew open an inning with a big hit.

Curtis & Crandon 7, Mona Lisa 3 – Jeff Hoffman had the go ahead hit and drove in two runs to power C&C to the win. Stephen Conway added two triples for the day. Kaleb Rowe and Michael Lord each had two hits and two runs scored. For Mona Lisa, Sean Elliott once again pitched well while Joey Coehlo, Chris Arnone and Eric Branecky played well in the field.
