One of the property transfers listed in the June 3 edition of The Bee incorrectly described property sold by Timothy P. Goergen of Norwalk to the Town of Newtown. Mr Goergen sold the town residential property at 38 Laurel Trail for $348,200.

In the Letter Hive section of the June 10 edition of The Bee, a typographical error in the headline accompanying a letter from Julia and Joseph Morris changed the meaning of the headline. The headline should have read, “When ‘Fantasy’ Becomes A Threat.”

A story in last week’s edition about two local brothers serving in the Connecticut National Guard contained several points that were attributed to incorrect subjects. Carl Bergquist just completed his senior year at Newtown High School and is currently attending an Advanced Individual Training (AIT) program at Fort Benning, Georgia. In September, he will be attending Norwich Military Academy in Vermont, where he plans to  pursue a Criminal Justice specialty. Matthew Bergquist will be a senior at Newtown High School in September. In January 2006 he will have earned the credits to graduate, and plans to attend basic training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina before going on to his AIT at Fort Eustace, Virginia.
